Post 5 - Changes to my Study Programme

Hello everyone once again, I hope you are doing well! Today you will read the last blog I will write on this site and the topic will be "Changes to my Study Programme". Well, to start, I guess the first thing that comes to my mind is the labs in the pandemic period. As you know, during that period everything was online (work, study, shopping, etc) and in the practical subjects such as labs you could not put in practice what you learned in class...yes, the University gave the possibility to have some labs but not all that you should have, for example, in "Organic Chemistry Lab" I only had 4 labs while in a normal class period the teacher explained that you had around 8-9 labs, which makes you think that you did not learn everything you should have. At least, one good thing, is that the University gave the possibility to take the subjects that had lab subjects as a requirement without having passed them hehehehe.

This year, I think the University is doing everything you would expect in a normal year, there are some exceptions but in my opinion there are not problems of the University, but with the attitude of some professors yes. I don't want to go into details in this post about things that I should formally tell the University authorities, but I must say that there are.

That's all, thank you very much for reading! 😊

Post 4 - A time travel to the future

Time travel

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well, today it is time to write about time travel 🚀. Being honest I usually think about this topic, at least one or four times in a week but not in the way everybody thinks about it, when someone says "Time travel!" I suppose everyone thinks of "Oh, 100 years to the future" or "1000 years to the past"... but in my case I imagine a short-time trip to tomorrow or to the next week maybe and that is because I am a person who is always worried about what is going to happen to be prepared and ready for everything.

Besides that, I am also interested in the time travel to the past, but this is more like to doing for fun hahaha. When I was a little boy, dinosaurs always caught my attention, I watched movies and documentaries about them, I had books and toys and I always thought "What if I could go to the Jurassic period?" woooow that would be awesome but at the same time terrify hahaha you should imagine why. I would be able to see if dinosaurs are exactly like scientists describe them, could you imagine if they were different? what if they were? guau!!! that would be a great revelation for the scientific community :0. So let's say I go to the Jurassic period, I would prefer to stay there just for a short time and with a lot of security of course because well, have you ever watched "Jurassic Park" or "Jurassic World"? I don't want to die, I can defend myself against a mugger but dinosaurs mmm  I guess no hahaha.

That's all thank you again for reading 😊

Post 3 - My dream job

Hello everyone I hope you are doing well, today it's time to talk about my dream job, the job that I want when I graduate, but for now let's begin with my dream job when I was a child. If you read my first post you will know about my interest on Japanese culture, especially on the anime/manga industry. When I was a teenager maybe around the age of 15 I was really into the world of mangakas and I started to learn how to draw the characteristic characters and settings of manga, I did some sketches but most of them without story because I was very bad at creating them and at that time I saw myself drawing manga in the future. Mangakas are well paid but you have to work very hard, because manga magazine editorials are extremely strict. Probably what I'm going to say is not so accurate because it is "fiction" but the manga "Bakuman" explains what I said about how strict it's to be a mangaka, the artists of this manga tries to explain the life of someone who wanted to be a mangaka. Eventually I decided to give that as a hobby but the truth is that I lost the ability to draw hahaha and now I only read manga.

After that, time to go to university arrived and I thought on a profession that mixes my interest in chemistry and the health area. My first option was Chemistry and Pharmacy the one that I wanted but I had other options such as Medicine or Nursing but my phobia to blood said no no no to them hahaha. Last
semester I had the subject Botany and I realized that I really enjoyed working with plants, they caught my attention immediately and now I'm very interested in them to the point that when I'm walking on the street and see a plant, I stop just to see and describe it. At the moment I see myself in the future working in a laboratory investigating about plants, discovering alternative treatments to diseases or just a new medicine. Pharmaceutic Chemists are well paid here and I know that when I graduate I'm probably going to work in a pharmacy first to after some years be able to go to a laboratory, I have a lot of time and I'm still young hahaha so I'm not worried about that. Maybe I will discover other areas or maybe not, who knows?

That's all thank you again for reading 😊

Post 2 - The best concert ever

Concerts

Hello everyone reading this, I hope you are doing well! Today it was supposed that I should write about my best concert ever, but the truth is that I really don't like concerts that much... so this is the end of the post hahaha kidding but yes, I don't like concerts.

First of all don't get me wrong, I don't like concerts but that doesn't mean I don't like music, just to let it clear. The mainly reason is because I can't deal with crowds and at concerts well you know, there are a lot of people and noise! aaaaggh I also hate that maybe I couldn't be able to hear myself there. Probably you are thinking “this guy doesn’t know how to enjoy the music of his favorite artists” but that’s not true, personally I just prefer to stay at home listening my favorite songs on the pc or my phone, for me that’s quite more comfortable. Besides, I support them buying CD track hehe. Maybe in the future my mind will change and I will star going to concerts, at least once because well I have to admit it, concerts are a unique experience and I can’t deny that.

That was the end of my post, thanks again for reading I hope you enjoyed it.

See you 😊

Post 1 - A country I would like to visit

Japan

Japan, a country right under Korea located in the Asian continent, with a lot of history and culture. I have wanted to go there since I was a little boy, maybe because when I was a child at the age of 5 I started to practice Karate and at the same time I started to watch anime so I think these two things made me love Japan at that time. When I grew up I discovered other things about Japan that caught my attention such as their religion, characteristic shrines, wonderful sceneries (at least for me hahaha) and many other things. Japan is very crowded in some cities, not swarming with tourists I think, but swarming with natives. They are very respectful with others but I think not with foreigners, in fact, for foreigners, it's very difficult to rent an apartment because the owners don't trust non Japanese people I think. One time I read that they check your last name and if it's no from Japan they try to avoid you in matters of rents.

I want to have fun in Japan so first of all I would like to go to iconic anime/manga places for example Akihabara or Ikebukuro districts, then I would like to visit shrines and the tomb of 47 Ronin and also I want to go to Okinawa the place where Karate was invented, I would also like to go to other attractions but those are my priorities.

I know a few words in Japanese but I don't know how to write them, I only know the pronunciation. It's very difficult for me to learn Kanji, if I want to live there I definitely need to learn Japanese, but for now I just want to go there on vacation and maybe in the future why not try to live there

Thank you for reading, if you like this please let me know below in the comments.
See you next time 😊
